Thirteen St Andrews Biology students, including 6 Masters and 7 Senior Honours students, and two staff are exploring southern Argentina and the Antarctic Peninsula down to the Polar Circle as part of two field course modules in polar ecology.
The expedition is themed “from Waves to Whales” and will focus on integrating oceanographic observations and top predator distribution and behaviour in in one of the most rapidly warming regions on this planet.
